Everyone is good at something. You might play the drum incredibly well, or make scrummy chocolate muffins, or you’re a great listener. You somewhat now what you’re good at, right?
Now, have you ever noticed that everytime you make use of that skill or talent of yours, you experience this burst of positivity? You uplift your mood and feel generally good about yourself.
This is something you should use to your advantage. When you feel stressed out or sad or angry, channel all that chaotic energy into revisiting a talent you haven’t used in a while.
Do me a favour, get a piece of paper and write down 5 things you know you’re good at, you could even include your forgotten childhood hobbies.
Practice this skill at least once a week, and you’ll notice your level of happiness rising. If you ever feel down, you know what to do.
